Snap a Turtle, Save a Turkey! Thanksgiving trip

Why not pardon a turkey this year and come down to the warmth of Baja for a guided trip where you will boat to your own remote island, engage in sea turtle conservation and research, learn all about photography from award-winning travel photographer Kristen Gill, and get down and dirty with some hands-on workshops and critiques? Of course, we will partake in our own version of a Thanksgiving dinner, with fresh, locally caught seafood prepared by a renown chef who has worked alongside chef Rick Bayless to create some fabulous dishes to be featured in Mexico – One Plate at a Time tv show. Learn to use your camera with hands-on instruction in the field and relax in the afternoons on the beach or by hiking the sand dunes. Enjoy happy hours on the beach, perhaps with a few dolphins joining in on the fun, and watch gorgeous sunsets nightly. Treat your friends/family for a truly memorable Thanksgiving this year (without the stress or cleanup)!

Trip will depart from La Paz on the 27, so at least one night before departure exploring the city and its surroundings is recommended. We’ll be back to La Paz on the afternoon of Dec 1st. Fee for this trip is $1,630 and it includes all meals and drinks, land and boat transportation, upgraded camping accommodations, participation in the sea turtle monitoring. and photo workshops throughout the trip.
