Terms for payments and cancellations on private day trips

Deposits and payment of the total

 

  • A 30% non-refundable deposit must be made at the time of booking.

  • The remaining total must be settled 20 days before the date of the trip.

 

The refund policy for cancellation by the client will be:

 

  • The deposit will beNorefundable.

  • The remaining total (total cost of the trip minus the deposit) will be refundable according to the following table:

Payment and cancellation terms for multi-day itineraries

Deposits and payment of the total

 

  • A 30% non-refundable deposit must be made at the time of booking.

  • The remaining total must be paid 45 days before the date of the trip.

 

The refund policy for cancellation by the client will be:

 

  • The deposit will beNorefundable.

  • The remaining total (Total cost of the trip minus the deposit) will be refundable according to the following table:

    • 45 days or more before the travel date       85%

Itinerary changes and cancellations by RED Travel Mexico

Adventure tourism depends on multiple factors including, but not limited to, weather, climate, and environmental elements. In the event that RED is unable to operate the planned itinerary due to wind, weather conditions, force majeure, or factors beyond RED's control, the itinerary will be modified and no refunds will be given. We do not guarantee any sightings or interactions with wildlife. 

 

If RED is unable to operate the itinerary due to mechanical failure, personnel failure, or other internal operating factor that we cannot resolve within a reasonable time, a full refund will be provided.

Disclaimer and Personal Information Form

All passengers must sign a Responsibility Waiver Form before the start of the trip.

All passengers must fill out a Personal Information Form at least 15 days before the date of travel.

Denial of Service

All passengers must follow the communicated protocols and regulations that govern activities in Natural Protected Areas and/or interaction with wildlife.

 

RED Travel Mexico reserves the right to deny or terminate service for any reason including, but not limited to:

  • The use of prohibited substances during the trip

  • travel intoxication

  • Physical or verbal abuse of staff or passengers or any threatening attitude

  • Violation of local laws including the rules of Natural Protected Areas

  • Violation of the policies established by RED for interaction with species and habitats

Sure

RED has an insurance policy that provides basic coverage in the event of an accident to all passengers on RED trips. Activities outside of our established tours such as free time in the city or hotel unaccompanied by a RED guide or RED staff are not covered. RED recommends that all passengers purchase travel insurance and familiarize themselves with the coverage and limitations.
