Escape from Cabo
Trip overview
Sometimes the best thing about Cabo is getting out of it and giving yourself a chance to discover what lies beyond the resort. Start the day off with a brisk 8:00 am pick up time in your hotel lobby in Cabo (make sure to inquire about alternate pick up locations) and make the comfortable 2.5 hour drive up to La Paz.
You will arrive at Puerta Cortés Marina Village at around 10:30 am where you will be greeted by your guide who will be your host for the day. Jump aboard one of our shaded watercrafts as you head out on your choice from one of our 4 Marine Adventures available. Spend the day in or above the water, learning about the local wildlife and letting the buzz of Cabo life drift away with the tide. Just before wrapping up the day, enjoy a delicious picnic before docking at around 4:00pm. Once you have packed everything up you’ll be on your way back to Cabo just in time for dinner, a shower and some down time as you reminisce on your La Paz getaway.

Climate and weather: La Paz is situated on the Gulf of California on the southern part of the Baja California peninsula. It is separated from the Pacific by a desert environment with low mountains in between. We get large temperature swings, typically in the late fall and spring, up to 104 degrees fahrenheit (40 degrees celsius). This can be true even during winter. Outside of summer, we recommend packing for HOT and COLD weather. Most importantly, be prepared for a sun that’s stronger than you may be used to due to our latitude. Remember, a sunburn takes just a couple hours to develop, but it can ruin the rest of your trip. Stay shaded and stay hydrated.

-
Luggage: For day trips, you’ll want to bring a small bag or backpack for your water bottle and personal items. Our boats have a dry storage space.
